Biography:
Laurie always wanted to return to school to complete her Bachelor's degree.
Laurie Lawler decided to return to school to complete her Bachelor's degree after working in her kids' elementary school. She enjoyed the work so much she decided to earn a degree in American Studies with a minor in Elementary Education so she could someday teach in her own classroom.
Laurie was hesitant about returning to school because she did not know how she would be able to juggle her studies and attending class with her family commitments. With three kids, Laurie found that Lesley 's program really fits her schedule.
Currently, Laurie is working as a special education assistant providing reading and math support for first graders. She plans to enroll in a Master's program once she completes her Bachelor's degree.
