Kaitlin Laquerre

Biography:
Transfer student, Counseling intern, basketball player, Alternative Spring Break volunteer--Kaitlin wasted no time becoming part of the Lesley community.
There were a number of reasons that Kaitlin decided to transfer to Lesley, but at the top of her list was the opportunity for hands-on experience in the field of Counseling. In her first year at Lesley, she interned at the Gately Youth Center and has continued to work there as a paid employee.
Kaitlin's current internship is at Women in Community Service (WICS), where she is responsible for the case management of Job Corps students. "My internship at WICS is really going to be helpful in my field." Kaitlin says. "I will already have case management experience before I even begin my senior year."
In addition to her work in the classroom, Kaitlin has also traveled to New Orleans to aide Katrina victims, and logs minutes as a forward on the women's basketball team.
