Meghan Tangney

Biography:
From the moment she stepped foot on campus, Meghan knew she was in a place where "...people are open-minded and accept each other's differences." Here, building community wasn't about the need to be like anyone else--community meant discussing and working with others who might be very different from who you are. Meghan felt comfortable exploring and finding her place at Lesley and she now shares her favorite parts of the campus with others as an Admissions Ambassador.
Meghan's training in art therapy is already serving her, and the community, well. Meghan first honed her skills at a community center in Dorchester working with children in an after-school program. This coming year, she'll advance her skill set even further as an intern at the Community Arts Center in Cambridge. "Lesley has helped me become much more independent and better able to work effectively with others."
